• Because it would be a lie to say that we now have answers to all social, economic or policy dysfunctions of the country. No. But we have ideas and proposals on education, transparency of public action and the rule of law. These issues are essential even if they do not cover the whole field of politics, they are not addressed by traditional political parties. For the Pirates, these questions are the basis for a social project for our country.
• Because the Pirate movement is built on a collaborative basis. This implies that building a platform is a work to be done in “togetherness” not by technocrats, cut off from reality. This also means that everyone should have the opportunity to participate.
• Because the movement was born in the “Bottom of Morocco" It is a popular initiative. Its members are similar to the multitude of Moroccans. We are a group of young and old, concerned about the future of our country, busy in this world to seek the means of our livelihood and our development. We are not professional politicians, just citizens.
• Because a platform is a technical document, in a place and time: the program is not for legislation for the city (in the north or the south) or for the regional elections. We do not want to present to voters a list of good intentions and empty promises: we want to build a credible political offer, serious and, especially, built in collaboration with the largest number of citizens.

Concretely, in the days and weeks ahead, we will implement the tools and procedures for working on the different positions / demands / proposals / Pirate Party platform of Morocco. Then as a second step, we will communicate these tools and procedures to make them known to the Pirates first, then the general public.

To use a phrase from a famous American president in a different context:

"Do not ask what the Pirate Party of Morocco can do for you. Ask yourself what you can do for the Pirate Party of Morocco. ";-)
